Welcome to Valerie’s SugarBrook Bakery & Café. For your pleasure, we offer a full-service bakery, featuring a variety of homemade breads, pastries, cookies, pies, and assorted cakes. In our café, our menu features complete breakfasts, lunch, and on special occasions, brunch. Through our exclusive coffee roaster, we present our special blends for your espresso, latte, coffee and unique tea drinks.
For that special event, we have a wedding and specialty cake division. Your wedding and birthday cake dreams can come true. We offer wedding and specialty cakes of classic design, or an edible art design of your own. You tell us.
Only the finest and purest ingredients are used in making our products. There are no preservatives, and you can be assured the meats, cheeses, and prime produce are used in the making our sandwiches are top choice. We take no shortcuts in offering the finest food available, and you will realize that in the first bite you take.
Valerie Howard
In 1993 Valerie moved to Lake Havasu City and started her domestic and catering business named “Shine & Dine”. For the next several years her flourishing business proved to be lucrative but not satisfying. She had a dream in mind:
"When Sugar Brook Bakery & Café (the old one) opened December 1, 2005, I knew that I had found my true calling. The bakery quickly became a favorite spot for the residents of Lake Havasu.
The most frequently repeated response from people after they had come to the bakery for the first time is ‘Lake Havasu really needed a place like this’. My philosophy has carried over to my staff, and they share the same pride and excitement that I feel every time we create a memorable dining experience for our valued customers.” --Valerie Howard
